EMERGING: AniMate kicked off

AniMate (2017-2019, Emil Aaltonen foundation) has been kicked off by Pauliina, Tuure, Riikka and Riitta-Marja. In addition to the seasoned researchers of AniMate we’ve recruited a PhD candidate Maria Saari and a Master’s student Katja Mustonen to complete our team. The multispecies fieldwork begins in the coming fall and continues until spring 2018. We know you cannot wait for publications, so we’ve set up a social media presence that you can follow in the meantime. Follow our microblogs:

All good things come to those who wait was once a Guinness advertisement slogan but it applies to our project as well. Or what say you about this: As the section editor of a ChildhoodNature Research Handbook (eds. Amy Cutter-Mackenzie, Elisabeth Barratt, Karen Malone), Pauliina is super excited to let you know that the section on Child-Animal Relations is going to be amazing. Namedropping will ensue in due time and the full handbook is published in 2018 by Springer.

Let’s keep in touch!

The Dreamteam
